The Local Government Unit of Tapaz, under the proactive leadership of Mayor Nonong Palomar, conducted a monitoring and evaluations on local level program implementation (MELLPI) session for Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) today, December 18, 2024, at the Tapaz Training Hall.
This initiative, a testament to the LGU’s commitment to health and nutrition, focused on assessing the effectiveness of local program implementation and empowering barangays to combat malnutrition.
Municipal Health Officer Dr. Chad Bryan Hilado and the dedicated health staff Nurse II/ Municipal Nutrition Coordinator Pamela Ann Abia and Midwife I Lenny Ganat collaborated closely with the BNS and barangay officials during the MELLPI Monitoring.
Mayor Palomar, thru OIC Mayor Loreto Gadong, emphasized that nutrition remains a top priority for the LGU, recognizing its role in fostering sustainable development and stronger communities.
