The Municipal Public Employment Service Office (MPESO) Team, led by EnP Stephen Faeldin, successfully distributed Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) assistance to 101 beneficiaries of Barangay Hilwan.
This initiative, made possible through the collaborative efforts of Mayor Roberto βNonongβ Palomar and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), aims to provide much-needed financial assistance to disadvantaged workers in time for the holiday season. The distribution was also facilitated by Punong Barangay Hon. Analyn Carlos, who expressed her gratitude for the program that directly benefits her constituents.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt thanks, sharing how the TUPAD assistance will bring joy to their families this Christmas and New Year. Many shared that they can now purchase essential items such as food, clothing, and school supplies for their children, ensuring a more meaningful and festive celebration with their loved ones.
The TUPAD program is a proof to the continued commitment of LGU Tapaz, under the leadership of Mayor Palomar, to uplift the lives of its people by providing opportunities and support to those in need.
