The Youth for Peace (YFP) Tapaz Chapter closed the year with a celebration of partnerships and achievements during their 1st Araw ng Parangal on December 28, 2024. The event honored stakeholders and supporters who have played a vital role in promoting peace and community development.
One of the distinguished awardees was Mayor Roberto โNonongโ Palomar, recognized for his dedication and substantial support for the initiatives and programs of the Youth for Peace Tapaz Chapter. Mayor Palomarโs administration has consistently provided resources and avenues for youth engagement, empowering young leaders to champion peace-building efforts and sustainable development within the municipality.
In behalf of Mayor Palomar, EnP Stephen Faeldin, PESO Manager and LGU Tapaz Information Officer, received the award and delivered an inspirational message on the Mayorโs behalf. Faeldin emphasized the importance of empowering the youth as partners in peace-building and lauded the YFP Tapaz Chapter for their tireless efforts in creating a harmonious and resilient community.
