    The Tapaz Municipal Population Office has been recognized as the 2024 Most Outstanding Population Office in Region 6 for its excellence in the Localization of the Philippine Population and Development-Plan of Action (PPD-POA) 2023-2028 in Western Visayas held at SMX, Bacolod City last March 11, 2025.

    This achievement reflects the dedication of our local government in advancing sustainable population and development initiatives for the betterment of Tapaz.

    Mayor Roberto Palomar extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Municipal Population Office led by Ma. Cristina Gicole and all the departments that contributed to this success.
