In celebration of National Womenโs Month, the Municipality of Tapaz hosted an empowering discussion focused on gender equality and dismantling limiting stereotypes.
The event, held on March 19, 2025 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Ground Floor of the Municipal Hall, saw 42 female employees from various municipal offices come together for a transformative dialogue.
Organized and facilitated by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Head, Mrs. Josie Cambel, the session delved into the critical challenges women encounter in the workplace and explored strategies for empowerment.
Mrs. Cambel, serving as the resource person, guided discussions on key topics including gender equality, the detrimental impact of stereotypes on career advancement, and practical approaches to cultivate a more inclusive work environment.
The highlight of the discussion centered on the imperative to challenge deeply ingrained stereotypes that often hinder womenโs professional growth.
Participants actively engaged in sharing personal experiences and brainstorming solutions. The MSWDO Head encouraged women to shatter barriers, embrace leadership roles, and provide unwavering support to their colleagues.
The event, aligned with the national theme of โ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ, successfully met its objectives, fostering a renewed commitment to gender equality and empowering women within the Tapaz municipal workforce.
As National Womenโs Month continues, Tapaz reaffirms its dedication to nurturing a workplace culture where women are empowered to thrive and achieve their full potential.
