The 4th batch of beneficiaries under Project SMILE 2025 received much-needed care and assistance from the Local Government Unit of Tapaz in a heartfelt initiative aimed at supporting bedridden senior citizens.
Beneficiaries were provided with groceries, cash assistance, medical check-ups, vitamins, maintenance medicines, and overall health assessments conducted by the Municipal Health Office (MHO) team.
Representing Mayor Roberto Palomar, his wife Milagros โChayโ Palomar personally led the initiative, ensuring that the seniors received the care and attention they deserve.
Project SMILE, a program initiated by Maโam Chay Palomar in 2018, continues to bring hope and comfort to bedridden senior citizens. In collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), the Office of Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA), and the MHO Team, the program underscores LGU Tapaz commitment to uplifting the lives of its most vulnerable residents.
Through initiatives like Project SMILE, LGU Tapaz reaffirms its dedication to providing accessible and compassionate care to its senior citizens.
