In a strong demonstration of commitment to peaceful, fair, and orderly elections, the Tapaz Municipal Police Station (MPS) facilitated a Unity Walk and Peace Covenant Signing on March 21, 2025, at the Tapaz Civic Center.

The event, led by PNP Tapaz Officer-in-Charge PCPT Jobert T. De los Reyes, brought together political candidates, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Local Government Unit (LGU), the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), media representatives, Tapaz Information Office, the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Philippine Army.

The Unity Walk symbolized solidarity and cooperation among stakeholders in upholding a credible and peaceful electoral process. This was followed by the Peace Covenant Signing, where candidates pledged to uphold clean and honest elections, fostering unity despite political differences.

The initiative highlight the collective effort of various sectors to ensure that the upcoming elections in Tapaz remain free from violence, intimidation, and electoral misconduct.
